... True. I'm sorry if I've been sounding paranoid. It's not that I've actually encountered such a thing directly... I just get too caught up in thinking about the possibilities.

Until there's an opening, that's all we can do. [Consider the possibilities, even if they seem ridiculously paranoid. Kanda isn't the type to say things like "it's okay, you're fine" or "don't worry," so this as close as it gets.]
