[I hope Kate is our escaped killer and we just conveniently look away every time she kills, forever.

But that happened... and probably unsurprisingly, he doesn't seem particularly broken up about the loss of five people (er. four people and a dog) in one fell swoop. He does seem a little distracted as he comes back to the house, maybe a tad restless--but otherwise he just stops and nods at her when he sees her. How is sweet Kate doing...]

[ her voice is calm, like usual. but there's also a hint of tension, like there's some effort going into that calmness. ]

... It was difficult to watch all of that.

They need a better ritual.

[Personally he thinks they should be able to commit all their executions on Saturdays, because he doesn't know how murdergame schedules work.]

There isn't. [Perhaps surprisingly, his tone isn't harsh--but it isn't gentle either, just straightforward.] Those three said as much.

[And he doesn't have a ton of faith in them, but that's one thing he has no trouble believing.]

[They need to figure out a way to get out of this place with minimal casualties. Even without his kneejerk reaction to the unfortunate people going out of control, he thinks it's obvious that it would be to get hung up on anything else.]
