[Even for the dog and on affection week, Kanda will not give hugs... I suffer every day.

But he's here by the pyre! He seems to be studying the area, looking around for any notable disturbances... there aren't any, of course, but he doesn't seem annoyed by this--at least, not any more annoyed than his usual RBF--just serious and focused.]

[Camille does not look pleased. She'll admit, she's spent less time with the dog than most, and she's only met Ichiban this week. Karma she learned quick to avoid.

None of that makes seeing their faces on posters any easier.]

[To the first, he doesn't comment--not because he's annoyed, but because she's right, and he doesn't think he needs to explain why. But he gives up on looking around pretty quickly; if nothing was out of the ordinary last time, it doesn't really surprise him that that's true this time, too.]

Fuck me. A dog and a fourteen year old kid. And Ichiban — guy throws a mean right hook but his heart's soft as an end of season peach. They're all easy targets in their own right.

[Kanda, (redacted), does not seem particularly shocked or appalled by any of this--though it's not entirely true, because Pickles's death has thrown him off a little. JAN DID THIS.]

Monsters don't follow logic. [So there's no ruling out people based on would not kill a dog or a teen... and then their killers are Erin and Nona and ???? so. Yes.]

Doesn't mean we have to like it any better.

And they follow enough logic to make it hard to untangle. Maybe the targets are random, but the methods don't seem to be.
