You wake up, you put on your uniform, and you confront the fact that you might need to cut down the same person who fought beside you yesterday, if they made it through the night in the first place. He thinks it was ridiculous and naive of her to get attached to a stranger so quickly, but it's not like he'd expect a non-exorcist to understand. He can respect that she was able to end it. That's what matters in the end.
(And, Boothill coming back to himself in the end was... not something he'll share his thoughts about, but it didn't go unnoticed.)
But otherwise, he agrees. It was frustrating to be locked out. Especially for someone like Kanda, who is so deeply accustomed to being the one to step in, who has dealt with situations exactly like this all his life.]
