Kanda's in the house for now! Probably getting ready to head out to his curfew spot. By now he probably heard about the CYOA group return, unless all of my other PCs fail me, which would be very funny.
Typically, he isn't one to ask personal questions--he avoids building bonds like the plague, and he is the last person in the world people turn to for a comforting word. But after last week, he's on high alert for anything out of the ordinary tonight, and her subdued energy is enough to catch his attention.
He pauses to observe her for a minute, before he says anything--looking for any visible, physical differences, and briefly glancing at whatever she's embroidering.]
[He assumes Lavi told people where they'd be, so he doesn't bother. He watches a little longer.]
You're quiet.
[Not that he's ever clocked her as particularly loud, but she's been pretty cheerful almost every time he's seen her, so it's more that she seems... subdued.]
Mm. I saw... [...HE DOESN'T KNOW TODOMATSU'S NAME] the short guy on the way back. And the dog was in here. [Sweet Pickles, the best household resident.]
[He's quiet for a little while, thinking that over.]
...They never said we'd be the only ones dragged here. [He says, eventually.] The green one [Pestilence] said that if they don't succeed with us, there's nothing but inconvenience to stop the group from starting all of this over. We shouldn't discount anything.
[Up to and including the possibility of nasty familiar faces appearing, especially given that they seem to be dabbling so heavily in necromancy.]
It sounds like they killed her. For now. [He's not willing to say anyone is permanently dead unless he sees their bodies burned, but he'll believe that Todomatsu thinks she's dead.]

In answer to her question:]
No. [Not as it happened, but--] I ran into them here.
no subject
[ah.]
I don't like thinking of what happened to them.
no subject
With the [(derogatory)] necromancer?
no subject
...Yes. They ran into some sort of entity called Delilah. Hearing that frightened me a little.
no subject
Why?

[that's cryptic, but.]
She's nothing more than a vengeful spirit.

[it sounds like she very much doesn't think that would be permanent for this particular person.]
What a relief, then.

...That fussy doctor's going to run out of supplies. [Daan... Daan your first aid kit...]

No.
no subject
A little bit!
no subject
Did you curse me.
no subject
No! I wouldn't curse you, unless it was a curse I thought you'd like. And I didn't think you would like these ones...
