He's going to pinch his nose and try not to be dramatic about it. The cats are already fleeing because of the stench. ]

That won't work on a curse. [IF ONLY THEY COULD CHEAT CODE THEIR WAY OUT OF THIS STUFF] It'll wear off eventually. If it takes too long, I'll figure something out.

He tilts his head slightly, like he's considering this as a genuine possibility.]

It's not that bad for me. But it'll be annoying if it lasts until nighttime.

We need to figure out what to do about the cult. [Since they never actually settled on that, given that he assumes most people will refuse to sacrifice the Overseers, but the Overseers also don't want their heads fucked with, which Kanda can understand.] But we should have enough for everything else.

[By his math, they should have one or two stones left over, depending on the cost of the timeline adjustment caveat. They'll probably need to choose between regaining their powers and fighting the cult firsthand, or using the stones to take care of them--but that's not Kanda's decision, so.]

[ Well, good for you, Kanda, we're apparently going to fight.

They do not know this right now, though, and Aventurine cants his head to the side as he hums an acknowledgement. ]

Yeah, everyone's worked hard. I keep thinking about long I've been here... I might even miss it.

[ Strange to believe this is the same town that he'd landed in all those weeks ago, empty and practically barren with only riddles to entertain its handful of inhabitants with. ]

[He's glad for this because he's so incredibly sick of being benched, and even though he still has complicated feelings about being nerfed/de-nerfed, there's no more time to sit and ponder his own humanity (or lack thereof).

He hadn't thought much about it, but it occurs to him now that it really must be very strange for Aventurine. Kanda at least had time to understand what was happening by the time he died. And most of the people he'd met and liked best were over here already. A place with only two other people would've been much quieter, but not necessarily better.]

[ He'll grin, though, gaze wandering around the shopping center. As horrible as this place had often been, it's now also filled with fond memories thanks to the people. ]
