[I can never remember if you're canon familiar or if you've just listened to yaywon cry about lavi a lot
Anyway!! Aventurine can find him... somewhere. Idk. Anywhere but the theater because everyone he knows is a clown already and he doesn't need more. He's in his regular clothes by now, with his hair tied up in a ponytail and a sheathed sword in his hand. There's a number in the low thousands on his upper arm, which is probably fine and not concerning at all. I'm making you start the conversation I'M SORRY but at least Kanda won't run off immediately, probably]
But here's Aventurine, in all his peacock glory, falling into step with Kanda. Where did he come from, who knows, but he's got his hands clasped behind his back as he looks down in the space between them. ]
At some point Aventurine can find him, probably by the stream or in the woods... he has one (1) giant foot, and he's also standing with one hand on his hips, which are jutting out in a pose that is weirdly reminiscent of a certain cowboy...]
[ They're by the stream because Aventurine needs to clear his head after whatever the fuck was going on the past two days. He's taking a walk when he notices Kanda, and there's a moment if he wonders if he wants to deal with this today, but then he notices
Kanda does not seem to care about his staring... he simply continues gazing out at the water... Aventurine may get the distinct aura of a tumbleweed bouncing past... not a real one, but like, it's the vibe.]
[Finally gets to this now that I'm done attacking yaywon with asws OKAY ANYWAY hello
Kanda has to leave his room eventually (apart from checking on Daan and Karlach), but he can be found... staring at the mall!! He has. Such a dubious look on his face. He doesn't want to go in there... but there's soba in there... DILEMMA.
Also I will constantly forget unless I specify but he still has light burn scarring on his face and a missing ear from their fun little trip. Wowie]
[How hard is he looking for him... makes you go on a CYOA to find him
No I'm kidding he can spot Kanda heading off towards the creepy woods that have spiders in them. He likes the stream... it's so hard to get to... so few people bother him there]
But okay, he supposes this is fine... If Kanda can get through it, so can he, right? He'll head into the creepy woods too and if he fucking dies here then he dies. ]
No I'm kidding it's fine AVENTURINE CAN LIVE. Kanda's sitting on the ground and leaning against the gravestone as he watches the stream. There are a few animals hanging out, unbothered by his presence since he's so quiet and still; Kanda's got one hand on a fox's head, though the creatures may or may not scamper off when they get more company. As Aventurine gets closer, he'll be able to start picking up on Kanda's emotions, but--they're muddied, complicated tangles, difficult to parse beyond a general vibe of discomfort and unhappiness.
He's missing an ear, but he'd be a shitty soldier if he didn't notice someone coming up behind him, so:]
For a while, Kanda can be found hanging out near the spring! He doesn't go into the water, but he is being responsible and staying near it, at least until he's certain that his body isn't truly in danger of shattering. He would really rather not die for the second day in a row, even though he's so wary of these pools and their effects.
Aventurine can find him there if he wants, or he can just come to his room? Despite how closed off he is, his door is perfectly accessible. I don't even know if the exterior doorway area can be customized but even so.]
Assumes Aventurine just knows which one Kanda's door is. He'll knock to announce his presence and then push open the door which i am saying is slightly ajar because once he's knocked, he's walking right inside. That was enough manners. ]
[I'll do you one better and link you a picture!! The way the location description says that their rooms are always dingier than they'd be normally but his room is already so fucking sparse WHY IS HIS WINDOW CANONICALLY BROKEN. KANDA!!!!
The only nice(?) thing here is the lotus in an hourglass on the far table--it glows a bright pink, though several of the petals have fallen through to the bottom.
Aventurine can come inside, where he will find Kanda sitting on his bed; he's dressed down in a sleeveless shirt and comfortable pants, making the marks on his arms and the cracks all over his body even more visible than before. His hair is down, though there's a woven hair cord resting over the bandage on his wrist like a bracelet.
He looks up as Aventurine enters, brow furrowed, but before he can say anything part of his shoulder cracks and falls off. Damn.]
Whenever they cross paths again, Kanda is all healed and cleaned up, looking as pristine as he did on arrival apart from his bad attitude... at least they balance out. He'll nod at Aventurine, and though he doesn't call out, the emotional vibes are mostly calm and satisfied, with just the slightest undercurrent of lingering uncertainty.]
[HELP where are they going indeed. Maybe back to the haunted house or something... actually no he'll probably sleep in his apartment unless he's forced to stay there.]
